Postpartum Doula Services

Postpartum doulas help relieve the stress of bringing a new life into your home and therefore reduce the likelihood of postpartum mood disorders like postpartum depression and anxiety. Practical help with breastfeeding and sleep help make the postpartum period much easier on not only mom and baby, but the rest of the family.

Postpartum doulas can help with household chores so you can focus on bonding with your new baby (or babies!), quality time with older siblings and partner or even self care, which can often easily become abandoned during the postpartum period.

Tasks of a postpartum doula may include:

  • Newborn education
  • Overnight/daytime infant care
  • Laundry
  • Errands
  • Light housework
  • Feeding support
  • Sibling care
  • and more!

While I fully believe doulas should charge for their services, we also do not want financial situation to stop a woman from having access to the vital prenatal, labor and postpartum support a doula provides.

For this reason, we offer a "sliding scale" system. A realistic fee based off of your personal financial situation.
